Role of Ibexcode and Third-Party Services

Role of Ibexcode: Ibexcode acts solely as the publisher and developer of the application. The company does not directly collect or store users’ personal data.

Role of third-party services: Third-party services (Google, Apple, Firebase, AdMob) are independent data controllers for their respective data. These services collect, process, and retain data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Ibexcode does not control or intervene in the collection, processing, or storage of data carried out by these third-party services.

Ibexcode is not subject to the obligation to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) under the GDPR, and no DPO has been appointed to date.

This information enables users and authorities to contact us or identify the data controller.

To ensure the operation of the Application, we use in particular the following third-party services:

Ibexcode does not collect or store personal data directly. However, some third-party services used by the application may provide Ibexcode, via their management interfaces (e.g., dashboards), with aggregated, technical, or pseudonymized information related to the use of the application (e.g., crash statistics, performance indicators, anonymized ad data). This data is accessible solely for monitoring the proper functioning of the application and does not allow Ibexcode to directly identify a user.

4. Data Processed

We collect only the data strictly necessary for the operation of the Application. Depending on the platform used, the Application may process:

  • An Apple or Google account identifier
  • A technical user identifier (Firebase identifier)
  • Technical identifiers related to authentication

4.1 Subscription and purchase data

The Application may process the information necessary for the management of subscriptions and in-app purchases, including:

  • Subscription status
  • Type of subscription
  • Validity dates
  • Technical transaction or validation identifiers

No banking data is collected or stored by Ibexcode. Payments are processed directly by Apple or Google, depending on the platform used.

The aforementioned third-party services may collect information such as:

  • Identification data: Unique identifiers (such as device ID or user ID)
  • Log and usage data: Usage statistics, crash reports, diagnostic logs, etc.
  • Location data: Geographic location (if enabled by the user on their device)
  • Advertising data: Data collected by AdMob to provide targeted advertisements (depending on the user’s personalization settings)

4.3 Data retention period

5. Purposes of Data Processing

The data collected by third-party services may be used for the following purposes:

  • User authentication (via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In)
  • Tracking performance and crash reports (via Firebase)
  • Providing personalized or non-personalized advertisements (via AdMob)
  • Improvement the user experience

Upon first launch of the application, a consent banner allows the user to choose whether they wish to receive personalized or non-personalized advertisements via the AdMob service. This consent is compliant with GDPR requirements and Google Play policies.

The user may change their choice at any time from the application’s privacy settings, or via the advertising settings of their device (Android/iOS).

5.2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The application may offer in-app purchases, including auto-renewable subscriptions, accessible through the Google Play or Apple App Store platforms.

Payments are processed directly by Google or Apple, depending on the platform used. Ibexcode does not have access to payment information, such as bank card numbers or personal identifiers related to the transaction. Purchase data is managed by the platform in accordance with their own privacy policies:

Users can manage or cancel their subscriptions at any time from their Google Play or Apple account settings. No billing is handled directly by Ibexcode.

Responsibility of Third-Party Services

In the event of a data breach, these services are responsible for notifying affected users in accordance with GDPR. Ibexcode cannot directly notify users because Ibexcode does not collect or control this data.

The Application may contain links to third-party websites, including advertisements or promoted content. When you click on these links, you leave our application’s environment and are redirected to third-party sites. These sites are not under our control, and we disclaim any responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or practices.

8. Children’s privacy

The Application is not intended for persons under 18 years of age.
